York’s beautiful minster dominates the city’s skyline and is one of my favourite places to explore as a resident. This view of the minster, taken from Exhibition Square, includes Bootham Bar and the Grade II listed De Grey Rooms.

The Hairy Fig was a popular and now sadly missed deli and cafe on Fossgate in York, located next to the historic Merchant Adventurers Hall. A location of many happy breaks from studying.
